Aleksandra (Ola) SajdakResearch Associate

    Born in Warsaw, Ola has interned at POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews and at the Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute. She served as a Taube Center intern in 2011 and joined the staff in 2012, bringing her research and computer skills to the team. Ola contributed to the second edition of 1,000 Years of Jewish Life in Poland: A Timeline and the Field Guide to Jewish Warsaw and Krakow. Ola received her BA and MA from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University. Intrigued with all aspects of Jewish history and heritage in Poland, Ola is currently working on her doctoral thesis on tzedaka (charity) and Jewish philanthropy in Poland. She is also a member of the staff of the Jewish Genealogy & Family Heritage Center.
