Milena Wicepolska was born in Ostrołęka, Poland but her professional life is connected with the city of Łódź, where she came for her studies in English philology and history. She is a genealogist and a tour guide specializing in the history of Łódź Jews. She guides groups, individuals, study tours for institutions and universities, local children and families of survivors. Milena is the founder and co-organizer of the volunteer clean-up project called “Bridges” at the Jewish Cemetery of Łódź. She is a graduate of the 3rd and 5th cohorts of Mi Dor Le Dor (From Generation to Generation), Taube Center’s study program for leaders. During free time she travels, reads books, and learns Hebrew, Yiddish, and German.
